What To Wear
It is a good idea to bring a waterproof coat as lessons continue regardless of the weather. If you have not ridden before we suggest you wear comfortable leggings or loose-fitting trousers.
Ideally riders should wear boots or flat shoes with a small heel and smooth sole. Wellington boots may be worn provided the tread is minimal.
Riding hats are available to hire and are all current safety standard (PAS 015) However, after your first few lessons it is advisable to purchase your own hat, which should also be current safety standard. Have your own hat checked by our instructors and tagged.
It is recommended that all flesh is covered to avoid injury so we advise long sleeve tops and gloves.
The wearing of shorts, skirts or sandals will not be permitted.
A selection of hats, jodhpurs and boots and other equestrian clothing are available in our onsite tack shop.
