Murton Equestrian Centre is a 5* rated licensed with North Tyneside Council (19/1636/Animal). We are also BHS approved family run riding school in Tyne & Wear. We have been established for over 50 years, providing riding lessons for adults and children of all abilities and ages by our qualified staff.
We run private lessons, group lessons and also offer The Pony club centre membership for children who dont have their own ponies.
We have over 25 horses and ponies so are able to accommodate all abilities from beginners through to experienced riders. As a BHS Approved Riding School we are inspected regularly to ensure we meet high standards of safety, horse welfare and tuition. It also means we are insured for public liability and that we comply with the latest health and safety legislation. All our instructors receive regular training and either hold BHS qualifications or are working towards them. Coaches are also DBS checked, have safeguarding certificates and first aid qualifications.
