This Dressage and go will be marked on equitation (Equitation is the art or practice of horse riding or horsemanship. More specifically, equitation may refer to a rider's position while mounted, and encompasses a rider's ability to ride correctly and with effective aids. In competition, the rider, rather than the horse is evaluated.) Riders and their own horses will still be welcome but we will be using the BHS Equitation Tests. (All Horses visiting must be accompanied by their passport and upto date vaccination record.)

Class 1: Lead Rein Walk and Trot Equitation. Open to riders aged 4-8 years and under. Riders in this class can only enter this class.

Test - Walk & Trot 1 (2020)

Class 2: Walk and Trot Equitation. Open to riders of all ages. Riders in this class can only enter this class.

Test - Walk & Trot 1 (2020)

Class 3: Prelim Equitation.

Test - Prelim D1 (2020)

Class 4: Prelim Equitation.

£12 per class please for horse owners, £18 per class for regular riders (including horse hire) book online https://murton-equestrian-centre.ecpro.co.uk

Withdrawals will be taken online until 24hrs before the start time and will be given a credit, withdrawals after this time will receive no credit. 

We encourage Horse and Rider to be as smart as time allows, British Dressage rules apply for tack.Horses and Ponies must be up to date with Flu Vaccinations, please bring passport with you. 

Competition rules.

  1. No more than 6 riders in the warm up arena at one time. 
  2. If you are riding one of our horses they will be tied up outside the outdoor arena, you will mount in the same way as your lessons and return the horse to the tie up once finished your test. 
  3. Times for you test will be allocated the day before and published on our website. Please arrive and be warmed up ready for your time, please then leave as soon as you have finished test. SAE can be left in a box outside reception for your dressage sheets and rosettes to be posted to you if you wish. 
  4. Ensure you bring your own horses vaccination record, this will be inspected before you unload.
  5. Please do not pass the no entry signs.
  6. Please follow all signs on the yard.
  7. Remember to have fun!
